Description
The "PS one" is the compact redesign of the original PlayStation, released in 2000 to coexist with the launch of the PlayStation 2 generation. It is characterized by its significantly smaller footprint, rounded edges, and a color shift from the original industrial gray to a light grayish-white tone. Beyond its refreshed aesthetics, the console introduced a modernized user interface and removed the serial and parallel ports to reduce costs and size. One of its most iconic accessories is the official attachable LCD screen, which turned the unit into a semi-portable system. Its success was so significant that it outsold many next-generation consoles during its initial months on the market.
