The Starlight Blue covers feature a vibrant cyan-blue hue inspired by the glow of the stars. Like the rest of the original line, they are made from high-strength ABS plastic with integral pigmentation, preventing the color from wearing off due to friction or the heat generated by the chassis. The finish is satin matte, specifically designed to minimize the appearance of dust and fingerprints, which are common on the stock white covers. For the "Fat" model, these large-format plates install using the official side-slide system, perfectly matching the curvature of the disc drive. Their internal structure ensures that ventilation channels remain clear for optimal cooling.
