The PS5 Slim (CFI-2100 Series) with 825 GB is visually identical to the 1 TB Slim, maintaining the four-cover design (two glossy, two matte) and the detachable disc drive. However, it internally features the lower-capacity SSD module, leaving the user with the same 667 GB of usable space as the launch "Fat" PS5. Technically, this represented a step back for the Slim line to reduce component costs. It is the standard model currently found in most major retailers, often bundled with two controllers or catalog games to offset the reduction in internal storage.
