The ROG Ally X is the "definitive" revision of ASUS's platform, specifically designed to address the limitations of the original model. Its most critical upgrade is the 80Wh battery, which doubles the initial battery life and allows for extended gaming sessions on demanding titles. It features the AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor, now powered by 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM at 7500 MHz, eliminating bottlenecks in video memory (VRAM) allocation. Additionally, it uses a standard M.2 2280 SSD slot, making storage upgrades significantly easier. Its black chassis is more ergonomic, the joysticks offer greater durability, and it features two USB-C ports (one being Thunderbolt 4) for increased versatility.
